RADCOM's Omni-Q is a unique, comprehensive, next-generation network testing, network monitoring and network performance quality management system solution. The Omni-Q solution consists of a powerful and user-friendly central management module and a broad range of intrusive and non-intrusive probes covering various networks and services, including VoIP, UMTS, CDMA, and data.

Omni-Q is powered by the GearSet, an innovative chipset online session processor, the foundation of RADCOM’s new high-end, hardware-based probe platform, the R70. The R70 is the highest performance solution in the industry, and is fully scalable for future challenges.  

The probes enable Omni-Q to deliver full visibility at the session and application level (and not only at the single packet or message level), with full 7-layer analysis at a level of performance unparalleled in the industry.


The Omni-Q is designed to enable service providers and vendors to successfully face tremendous challenges in the coming years, including:

  • Massive deployment of next-generation networks such as UMTS, CDMA2000, All IP, Carrier  Ethernet (MAN) and PON
  • Integration of new architectures such as HSDPA, 3GPP’s IMS, UMTS Release 5/6 and CDMA Rev’ A or EVDV

  • Total visibility – The Omni-Q provides both a vertical (7 layers) and Horizontal (cross-network) visibility and understanding of every session/event affecting the successful delivery of services. This visibility is network-element (NE) independent, and is not sensitive to the introduction of new services, software upgrades or modifications.

  • Detailed performance analysis – the Omni-Q enables effective pre-emptive maintenance, network optimization and trending. The Omni-Q solution makes it easy to detect traffic trends that will become issues of service degradation, congestion or fault. Since the Omni-Q is an extended CDR-based solution and not a counter-based one, analysis granularity pertains to the single transaction and even packet, making almost any kind of query possible.

  • Early-stage fault detection and alerting – the strong threshold engine embedded in the Omni-Q solution provides an ‘analog-like’ threshold for any parameter on every traffic filter, and thus enables unique fault detecting at the earliest stages of development.

  • Effective troubleshooting – the Omni-Q solution includes a unique drilldown troubleshooting mechanism with thorough investigatation and analysis of signaling/control flow, media behavior and patterns. This means quick isolation and resolution of any service-degrading problem.

  • “Pre-Mediation” - open architecture to leverage existing OSS/NMS or other 3rd party tools by using the Omni-Q’s unique service-oriented information

Long-term real-time traffic analysis, fault detection, troubleshooting and data collection for GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS networks.
 CDMA2000 Monitoring

 SS7 vProbe
The SS7 vProbe is RADCOM's non-intrusive (passive) live-traffic probe, monitoring voice quality on circuit-switched networks.
 IMS Monitoring
RADCOM'S new high performance probe platform, the R70, has been designed to specifically address the network topologies and traffic characteristics associated with an IMS environment in an NGN network. IMS monitoring is provided as part of the Omni-Q solution.
